“I Don’t Know What to Do” - Here’s a Side Hustle Matchmaker Quiz

You don’t have to know your “passion.” You just need a starting point.

Hey builders!

One of the most common things we hear from future entrepreneurs is this:

“I want to start something. But I don’t know what to do.”

Here’s the truth:

Most people aren’t lacking motivation. They’re stuck choosing where to aim it.

So I built a simple Side Hustle Matchmaker. A mental quiz to help you figure out what kind of side hustle actually fits your personality, strengths, and lifestyle.

Go through it now and take notes.

Question 1: Do you want to work with people or work alone?

  • With people → Service-based hustles, coaching, tutoring, or selling to clients directly

  • Alone → Product-based hustles, content creation, writing, or flipping

Question 2: Do you want to be on camera or stay behind the scenes?

  • On camera → YouTube, TikTok, consulting, livestreaming, or course building

  • Behind the scenes → SEO writing, affiliate blogs, ghostwriting, ecomm stores, or templates

Question 3: Do you want to make quick money or build long-term leverage?

  • Quick money → Freelancing, selling digital downloads, flipping items, DoorDash/Uber

  • Long-term leverage → Content + audience building, SaaS, niche communities, personal brand

Question 4: Do you want structure or freedom?

  • Structure → Online tutoring, working as a VA, reselling with systems

  • Freedom → Building a brand, selling digital products, affiliate content, indie SaaS

Question 5: Do you prefer learning tools or making content?

  • Learning tools → Build automations, learn Webflow, use AI to deliver services

  • Making content → Newsletters, niche YouTube channels, LinkedIn ghostwriting

Your Results

Look at your answers and see what themes keep popping up. Then match them to these categories:

Creator Path – You love making things, even if it’s slow at first

Start: Newsletter, YouTube, TikTok, personal brand, writing ghost content

Service Path – You want to solve problems and get paid fast

Start: Freelancing, coaching, virtual assistant, cold outreach, editing, design

Product Path – You want to build something once and sell it repeatedly

Start: Notion templates, online guides, icon packs, eBooks, swipe files

Flipping Path – You’re scrappy and like turning $1 into $5

Start: Resell on eBay, garage sale flipping, domain flipping, refurbished tech

Tech-Enabled Path – You like building things that scale

Start: Automations, Zapier tools, indie SaaS, AI wrappers, low-code platforms

You don’t need to find your “forever hustle.”

You just need one that fits your current energy, curiosity, and schedule.

The first one teaches you everything you’ll need for the next.
